    Apparently Donald Sutherland died

I am not one to jump on the bandwagon of inch deep accolade-spewing that many jump on after a famous death but hell wha a villain he could do.
He did light comedy nicely as well.
Check out "Eye of the needle" if you can and the spy film comedy drama he starred in with Elliot Gould,

Most memorable for me: Klute, M.A.S.H, Invasion of the Body Snatchers, and of course, Animal House.

I always thought he could have played Kurt Vonnegut very well in a biopic.

Klute was hard for me to watch. Pacing issues. He certainly liked taking strange disturbing roles. I cant recall if he had any insufferable pretensions to play the pretentious (made so by insufferable conventions over time by an insufferably jingoistic british theatre) works of Shakespeare. He would have done a nice Iago though.
