    I am back

If you noticed a bit of tardiness on my part cleaning up the spammers It was due to unforeseen circumstances. Today is my first full day out of ICU after seven. My body got hit with a bad staph infection and over two liters of abscess has been removed from my right pelvic and groin area so far via a draining and a surgery. I've been living with needles, wires, and tubes sticking out all over my upper body for a week.

Most now removed and I am on the road to recovery. Will be on IV antibiotics for six more weeks and oral ones for a very long time after. Better than the alternative. Fortunately my bug has been isolated to be MSSA not MRSA. It does respond to antibiotics.

I did not have access to my computer and forgot my glasses so my efforts working on a cell phone screen were not very successful. I am now back to normal function so if you see anything that still needs to be cleaned up let me know.
Believe in truth. To abandon fact is to abandon freedom.

    Nature bats last.

            Sounds serious.

            good to hear the improvement.

Don’t let things here on GSR interfere with what you need to take care of.

Glad your back in the swing of things, I almost posted about not seeing you in the threads.

I figured you might be on vacation or something, get some rest and good things to eat and drink and most of all get back to 100% .

Sounds rather serious not to mention flat out dangerous. Is there any explanation as to how that happened? How did it present itself?

                            Damm...that sucks, Don.
Glad to see you are recovering. .

Sounds like it might be a while before you can get back into the saddle, but perhaps someone nearby can mount a garden chair on a GK and take you for a ride along that road to recovery.

Keep smiling and keep getting better!
