    94 years old

    A giant of comedy.
    1982 GS1100E V&H "SS" exhaust, APE pods, 1150 oil cooler, 140 speedo, 99.3 rear wheel HP, black engine, '83 red

    2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after.

      Thank goodness. I’m of the age to have watched many, if not all of the newer Newhart show (the one with Larry, his brother Daryl, and his other brother Daryl) more than the original with Suzanne Pleshette. But I really enjoyed watching those too when they were in syndication.

          We use to play a drinking game called "Hi Bob". Every time someone would say Hi Bob, you'd have to take a drink!

              Always enjoyed his stuff, seemed pretty straight up and if had scandals I didn't hear them. Who knows? I heard, in later yrs., Aunt Bee was a real blitch to work with, sure didn't look that way on the show.

                Only remotely negative thing I heard about him was his cigarette habit, how on his second show (Larry, Daryl &) it caused health problems which effected filming. That hardly qualified as scandalous, especially back then.
