    Health news: Dementia information


    Dementia is usually reported in connection with some celebrity, or even a former US President, but it is also a subject that some of us may have encountered with relatives and/or friends.

    There is now some news that may help people much earlier than ever before.

    As if people with anxiety don’t have enough to worry about, a new study is adding to that list — suggesting the disorder may nearly triple the risk of developing dementia years later.


    This one tells of a new way to detect Alzheimers that can do so not only earlier, but also much more accurately, than ever before

      I disagree.
      It was posted as information, not necessarily for discussion.


      While dementia is commonly associated with older age, it is really not age-specific.



      Alzheimer's is well-known and may be the most common form of dementia, so I thought it would be good for as many people as possible to know of the latest information.

        Hum, move to the vortex, or possibly start a new section on the latest health news? Or possibly early Alzheimer's is why it's posted on a motorcycle forum!

          2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after.

            Both Trump and Biden have been involved in the presidential "race" so far this year, and both of them appear to be in such poor physical condition that they would likely fall on their respective faces within only a few yards if they tried actually running.

                Some members simply have politics on their mind most of the time.

                Here, however, politics is merely a stone on the path of knowledge as we engage in etymological discourse on the subject of the word "run".

                Admittedly, it seems a bit off-course from dementia, but........this is GSR.
