I ride a bicycle in 100 degree plus weather. Kinda get accustomed to it within your known limits.

All heat is not equal. There is a big difference between 100 deg with 20% humidity and 100 deg with 90% humidity It's all about dewpoint.

Agree. I don’t like or do humidity. We get single digit humidity in AZ quite often. Generally like campfire heat.

I've worked in both, here high 90's F with 90% humidity feels way way worse than it was in Oklahoma and Kansas where highest I saw was 117 F with 20% humidity. In KS, and OK, it is "very hot" but not that uncomfortable, here in TN "hot" but very very uncomfortable.

I used to get home from Wall Street about 7 pm, then jump on the old Z1 and go for a ride sans shirt. I've heard of bare-chested cagers getting ticketed for indecent exposure, but never bikers. Those were the days.

Bare-chested little Miss Minnie in her Golf Cabriolet was a different story, though.

I'm not sure what's going on weather wise to bring such a prolong stretch of hot weather to a good part of the eastern US but the forecast is showing relief early to middle of next week. Then 10 day forecast is showing highs in the 70's coming up for Indianapolis of all places, IN AUGUST! I'm headed in that direction the day the cool weather arrives to get some major maintenance out of the way, hoping the weather stays sane to make it to a festival in southern Tennessee Labor Day weekend!

LONG list of previous bikes not listed here.

Maybe, maybe not. Minnie was so flat that had it not been for her nose, no one could tell if she was coming or going. heh

Just looked up our hottest day on record, 1930 we got to 111 F. Kind'f glad I wasn't here to see it. just while reading hottest in the U.S. was in Death Valley, it hit 134 F in July of 1913. Hottest I've been in was 1979, 117 F in OK. & KS working the wheat harvest.

Well I'm not sure where you pulled that stat from but hey there'll be at least one complete Milankovich Cycle during that amount of time and my best guess is they'll be awfully glad we did mess up at some point.

Actually, silly me. I thought I remembered and posted the 50K. The reality is that it's 100k year cycle. Going to be getting hotter for a long time.
