    "Frosty" Plays Football

Yes, I know, ...it is happening in Buffalo, NY, but still..................twenty inches of snow and fans are offered $20/hour to help clear it all from the stadium so they can play football tonight?

One holds out hope for Josh Allen...he is doing well this year. and a win will be a clincher for the Bills.

We've seen this before in Buffalo -- a lake effect snowstorm dumps tons of snow on Highmark Stadium for a Bills game. That's what's happened ahead of Sunday night's Buffalo Bills and San Francisco 49ers game, with so much snow being dumped on the region

Meanwhile....waaay up here in the (supposedly) frozen north....we got sunshine.today, and a few barely-there flurries.

It was quite a game. Fun and funny to watch. All that was missing was having the stadium speakers punching out Paul Simon singing Slip Sliding Away

It was especially good for Josh Allen who found three ways to score....passing, rushing and receiving....the first time an NFL QB has done them all in the same game..

Josh Allen scored a receiving touchdown on a pass he threw in his latest do-everything performance, and the Buffalo Bills clinched their fifth straight AFC East title with a 35-10 victory over the San Francisco 49ers on a snowy Sunday night.

Yes, you got it right. That is exactly what happened.

This really was a fun game to watch!

Here is a description of the moment from MSN Sports:

(Edit....you can see the play in the embedded video link)

Josh Allen joined a very prestigious club during the Buffalo Bills' Week 13 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. Late in the third quarter, Allen became just the fourth NFL player in history to record a receiving touchdown on a pass he threw. Yes, really!

On Sunday night, the Bills put on a clinic in the snow against the 49ers, with the game being blown open thanks to some trickery between Allen and Amari Cooper. On first and goal, with the Bills leading 21-3 in the third quarter, Allen threw a quick slant pass to Cooper, who was bottled up by a 49ers defenseman. However, before the play was called dead, Cooper lateraled the ball back to Allen and the quarterback ran right into the end zone for the touchdown.

It's already a ridiculous play -- one which only happens thanks to the quick thinking of Cooper -- and even more so thanks to the fact that Allen is credited with throwing the ball to himself for the score!
