Took his first ride with the jacket on the Norton, which I just did some standard service on - valve check, couple of gaskets, some gearbox oil and chain maintenance, etc. It's running fine. He likes it, no electronic wizardry like his Ducati DesertX, lots of noises, smells, and vibes. A real machine. And he looks good on it, to be honest I'm too big for it.

Leathers - found a deal!
Hard to swallow that $340 is a deal but it's a Dianese, on clearance at the store in Costa Mesa. Was $579. Nice and simple, clean design. My son had been looking and not finding much, and we just happened to be up near the Dianese store in Costa Mesa and popped in. So he got a 20th birthday present. Got the Shoei Air II as well, for Christmas. Lucky kid, I remember riding with a used AGV helmet and my Air Force flight jacket for years.

Well, at least the brands anyway. I do know the Norton was actually built in England.
