    SpaceX Starship 7 launch from Boca Chica, Texas on 15 January 2025

    SpaceX is scheduled to launch the largest and heaviest to date Starship 7 on Wednesday 15 January 2025 at 4:00 pm CST from the SpaceX launch site in Boca Chica, Texas.
    If anyone is interested, here is a link for that launch:

        At 45 seconds into the launch, you can see a piece that cracked then opened and started flapping then around 8 minutes and 20 seconds into the launch the upper stage suffered an Unscheduled Rapid Disassembly and the ship was lost.
        If you play back the launch, you can see where it cracks and then opens.

          I find that expression amusing . A polite way to say " The damn thing blew up " .... We have a similar expression in the nautical industry used on marine disaster reports " A lack of situational awareness " which translates to " Wasn't paying attention because his head was up his a$$ " ......
