My understanding is that there's about 125 miles of impassable and unbuildable swamp keeping a road from being built to connect north with south America, I just assumed they used that rig to cross it. Using it as a boat to go around it sounds like the sane way to bypass the problem, pretty hard to get road side service down that way.1980 Yamaha XS1100G (Current bike)
1982 GS450txz (former bike)
LONG list of previous bikes not listed here.
I identify as a man but according to the label on a box of Stauffers Baked Lasagne I'm actually a family of four

We became friends partly because we both rode motorcycles, but I was never in her league.
She went alone.....leaving Toronto to cross North America (Mexico is part of North America) and heading onwards to South America.....riding her old BMW.
Andrea had planned to go all around the world. She had plans and bookings made for her and the bike, but she never made it as the bike died in Chile and she had injuries and sickness.
Such an undertaking is perhaps not what you would expect of a woman, especially going alone, but Andrea was exceptional and she had some exceptional encounters and experiences along the wayA take-away:
IF YOU TAKE AWAY S FROM SIX YOU HAVE NINE
