Tough times I know. I did the same to my buddy in my avatar a few years ago. Dogs are the absolute best.

              Some great pics!

Sorry to hear about your dog Jethro.

Dogs simply amaze us. I would be one to turn my neck to see a dog on a side cart...he's got goggles too? OMG, that's awesome!

I'm so sorry to hear that Jethro. You're right, it's the hardest thing I've had to do too. It's like having to bury another of your children every few years. Time makes it a little bit better, but not much.

Bert, Jethro. So sorry to hear. I just looked at the pics of mine again now and started tearing up. I know how it is.

This is my girl at 51/2 (with the little - 90# - boy who is now 7).... She was brilliant, empathetic, brave, gentle, fierce, everything -she was better than almost any human I know and I will never not miss her.

My condolences to you both, Jethro and Bert. For the most part, pets are much more loyal to us than humans.

In the case of my ex wife, infinitely more so. And I have to admit, I miss the dog a lot more.
