In a sure sign of the approaching apocalypse or just my slow march to cranky(er) old man status, I heard of this group on......... an NPR story.
LOVE the vocals... and the rest too.

Glen, that song was excellent. Here's a song I really enjoy from a female vocalist whose concerts I have been fortunate to see from very close up.

Nobody cooler than Steve McQueen. For those that are not familiar with his work in The Great Escape - movie from 1965 - check it out. He was a huge bike enthusiast. For Christmas this year my lovely wife surprised me with the book on him and his bikes. Doesn't appear to be any Suzuki's in there but that's ok! And by the way, The Great Escape is a fabulous film based upon a true story. If you take the time and read a little you'll find out McQueen was a challenge to work with on the film and they messed with the story, as they often do, to make him a feature star.

Looks like a great book. I've been a fan of McQueen since my dad transferred his admiration of the man to me back in the '70's. Him, Lee Marvin, James Garner. They were all real motorheads.

Charlie, I like that one, thanks. I'll be exploring that more....

As far as Cheryl Crow, I've never been a big fan, although the video posted has some cool imagery.
I generally dont follow pop music in general. I'm sure I've missed out on some good artists, but I've always been suspect of the latest / greatest, I like it because everyone else does lemming mentality.
