I was thinking when I was a kid on a family trip (in a ford van) and out the window some bikers rode up and rumbled past. One guy had no helmet and his hair was blowing straight back, looked a lot like Jack Nicholson...Whenever I read about helmets I think of the lyrics of the "song of the year" for 2006:

Just makes me think of 2006. Beat is more like bicycle riding. I like the lyrics at 1:49.
Guess it makes me think whether wearing a helmet or not still "craaaazy" "Who do you think you..."

My daughter turned me onto this song, and it really intrigued me as it just a beautiful vocal track, with a single acoustic guitar. I had no idea the band was so avante garde looking. Talk about a video that is a polar opposite of the track your listening to...

I find this song to be quite beautiful, hope you enjoy

I was in a toy store type store with family last night and thinking horrible waste of time, type the wife just LoOoooves.
(After bunch $$ spent on buffet, then chuckeee cheeze games...ungrateful ...) any way the guys working there were listening to a song I liked and hadn't heard, LOL, turned out to be Johnny Cash from "American IV" Album (I got to get that one...):

PB, music threads pop here ocassionally, and I always enjoy them. Typically the theme based ones come and go. I started this one when I saw the RL Burnside video I posted at the beginning of this during a typical Sunday evening wind down and figured it was way cool enough to share. Glad your enjoying.

This band has been stuck in my head this weekend. Savatage. One of my favorite bands from back in the day..... these are the guys that hatched Trans Siberian Orchestra. We saw them twice back before they blew up and good tickets were affordable.

Ive been a musician for close to 40 years. Anytime someone appreciates the art, I am grateful....Its one of the few things in this world that unites pretty much all of us. Thx again.
