These guys are going to be at Bubba's Brewhouse in Durant OK on 7/17/21, $20 to get in the door, great food too. They go to Lubbock TX on the 18th after that they go around the US a bit and then off to Europe. Black Stone Cherry they rock.

Cornell, the world lost a big talent, RIP Chris. Audioslave's songs are are a big part of what I play the most on guitar, love Like a stone. My current fave.

Timing sux sometimes. I'd drive 350 miles to see them, the problem is life gets in the way so much. I'm about 60 miles away.

The other night on PBS they ran a 90 minute piece on Buddy Guy, really nicely done. I'm a snob of the highest order when it comes to what constitutes good music and seeing Buddy LIVE at the height of his popularity was hands down the best soloist music performance I've ever attended. Many before him infused the blues into rock music, he infused rock into the blues. The absolute king of "slow and greezy" electric blues, even Eric Clapton will tell you that!

I saw this band a few years ago, New Year's Eve show in Pittsburgh. Maybe not to everyone's taste. But I'm a Bari-Sax player, so, yeah, I really dig Leo Pellegrino and Too Many Zooz, maybe you will too. They don't do all that many covers, but here's a new cover from them. I think Kurt would be OK w/it.
