This one seems appropriate this weekend considering the fact it's inappropriate under most definitions of the term.

One more. This isn't your typical cover tune as it features four separate vocalists and musicians playing different instruments from all over the world. If you don't like how it sounds, do yourself a favor and give it 30 seconds since it moves along nicely.

Stumbled across that one last week. Fantastic!
So many cool sounds and fabulously produced.

The Playing for Change project has grown a lot since it's inception. It's aim is to raise funds for climate projects, I'll let you look it the what/how and that end. I'm just there for the tunes, the tip jar is easy to find on their YouTube channel.

Here's one of the recodings that got it all started and garnered the interest to get more mainstream music included.

The original. (Memphis Minnie, When The Levee Breaks, written and recorded with Kansas Joe McCoy in 1929; about the Great Mississippi Flood of 1927)
1982 GS1100E V&H "SS" exhaust, APE pods, 1150 oil cooler, 140 speedo, 99.3 rear wheel HP, black engine, '83 red

2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after.

Sho' 'nuff, plenty of others ripped it off before they did. Nothing like the original and although THIS isn't it, it's still the Chess Records backing band with the most influential name in 20th century musical history, Willie Dixon, on bass.

It's not Sunday but I'm in the midst of a minor change in life circumstance and will be logging off for awhile. Too bad radio died, I miss being a DJ!

Keep in mind an Austrian accent when you read the next sentence. I'll be back!

Hadn't heard that one for years.
                                Forgotten how good it is.
