Close friends know how difficult Max's struggles have been the last several years. I'm just so proud of him for this first step in getting back to performing for people again. I'm biased, but I think he sounded great. Put your headphones on and enjoy.

It's always good to hear about when that sort of thing happens, luckily it happened a lot sooner in life than it did to this guy. Either way, it's two artists who suffer less than they used to and that's what it's really all about, isn't it?

I've never met Roky but do know one of his sons. The inside scoop is that Henry Rollins had a huge hand in helping Roky to get the treatment he needed just like he did for Iggy Pop.

He is! As friend in Detroit is a former drunken drummer in a somewhat influential local band who started a "drop in" center for other working musicians dealing with keeping it together. Having heard the story Henry dropped a few bucks his way to help out, a top notch human being.
