      Cool thread guys.
Our 2 granddaughters. They don't have much interest in the motorcycles but we do get them out in the mountains when we can. The older one hopefully will take to some mountain biking in a year or so when she's a little less ...well ....girly. I'm working on that. Picked up a used small wheel/frame full suspension bike at a yard sale for a bit of a winter project. Honest Mom. "I won't try and kill her." LOL.

              Oh !
I just noticed something about that picture.
That picture is my son 1983, so 2 1/2 or so.

And, here is my grandson, his son,
at about 3 1/2 years old,
              a couple years ago.

I swear... I did not pose that to be the same.

Probably in both instances, I did have bar turn for something for them to hold onto and maybe said "want to beep the horn?".

One instance the bike is less than a year old, and other instance the bike is 32 years old. Both 82 Gs.

I got a chance to take two of my grand kids for a ride last weekend, and they loved it! These guys are 11 and 6yrs old. The little guy couldn't quite reach the foot pegs.

Grandkids are awesome. Even when they come to visit and leave you sicker than a dog! The little buggers brought me a nasty SoCal cold virus

                                Thanks for that.

Yesterday my next door neighbour had his 11 y0 granddaughter visiting.

Apart from being a delightful man on his own, and wonderful to have as a neighbour, he is a VERY proud grandfather.

I rode into the driveway just as they came out of the house. He introduced us then asked me to take her for a ride. We had a spare helmet so she undid her pony-tail and put on the helmet and wrapped her arms around me for the whole time..

We went for a short ride through some city streets, a little over a mile in total. As we rode back towards home the street was clear so I added a tiny twist of throttle in 2nd.....just enough to let get the bike to push forward sharply.

When her granddad asked her if she liked the ride she said she loved it, especially that quick bit of acceleration.

She immediately told her mother she wants to ride a motorcycle when she gets a old enough to drive and the smile she had was great to see.
