Got a book to read to the 10 month old grandkiddo.

Maybe not really "age appropriate".
Best thing she enjoyed about it was that the thick plastic coated pages made lots of noise when crumpling them.
And the book is good for chewing.

Kiddo is about 10 months old now. So time for a refresher course on motorcykle design for function.

See, here is one cylinder out this side and one cylinder out the opposite side so the vibration of the pistons cancel out each other. I know is a lot of plastic so cant see much of the engine, but all that helps for riding longer distances.
And here on the v-twin with common crankpin, both pistons are pretty much going up and down together causing lots of vibration. And all that chrome is just to look shinny.

She seemed to be more interested than previous visit.

the other day we stopped over at the beemerpunk kid's house and grandbaby was rippin around the driveway on his little yamaha. he saw us and decided to ride over to say hi to grandma and rode right into her car door. he is still working on using the brakes. he does like to drift the turns on the icy spots. that was fun to watch. once he has more control those training wheels will come off.

The oldest grandson dropped by last Sunday, we shot a little with my 1911 in 10 mm. The distance is 210'.

Don't take this the wrong way, gustovh, but maybe influence the Grandkids to wear their safety glasses?

Anyway....looks like a hoot.
I regret not buying a home here with room to shoot. And we sure could have.
Can't wait to shoot with my Grandkids...

No offense taken for you are correct, he has them for I gave them to him at Christmas. Out of 16 shots 6 hit the plate and the rest were in the paper. Would not want him shooting at me.

It took us a long time to find this place, Sandy, Charlie G, Trevor and all that gang have been here, it's usually pretty quiet.

With my two oldest grandsons here from CA, I had to make time for a little "influencing". The oldest couldn't wait to ride, asking within minutes of being here, but the youngest showed no interest until today. Sure was nice to see them. I think they'll have good memories of this spring break in Albuquerque. Today we tamed the big snake and found a mock up of the Ghostbusters car. A passer by offered to take our picture, then I did the same for him and his wife.

i hope i'm not putting too many pics of my 3 year old grand kid and his dirt bike but i just think it's super cute. here he is getting geared up for another ride:



the governor has been removed and he is now able to achieve full throttle. i don't know if it was on purpose but he roosted grandma and i pretty good.

there is a new grandson now. no pic here and we haven't done much together yet. he sleeps a lot and has a habit of looking for your breasts whenever you hold him. kinda a one track mind so far.

My grandson went for his first big bike ride a few days ago. Awesome was his opinion on the ride.
