I rode over to an old friend's house yesterday who lived next door to me when I bought my brand new KLR in 2004. He bought a BMW at the same time. We both went through the break in miles together and counted the days till we could hit the highway for serious miles. I found he has moved and a for sale sign in the yard. It seems like last week our boys were in cub scouts together and in the same first grade class. They're almost done with college and have jobs now. Sheesh, does it ever fly by!

...later note: I meant Cowboy Scott's picture. I spent so much mental effort on remembering the name "Leavenworth" that I had a mental malfunction with Cowboys name.Last edited by Redman; 02-23-2018, 10:53 AM.http://webpages.charter.net/ddvrnr/GS850_1100_Emblems.jpg

I missed that one. Looked through all my rally pictures and was going to select one, then life got in the way and I didn't get one posted.

Maybe I should have saved that lousy picture for a story thread, LOL. I was enjoying the conversation with the other guys and before I knew it the sun was down making any photo opportunity with the bikes more difficult.
Redman, your pic of you guys standing next to your bikes gets my vote. Makes me think of mounted soldiers getting ready to ride!

Voting day bump
Only one vote so far...I voted for Redman's pic but also like Jedz for the mountain scene and Trevor's for good times with buddies.
