Nature taking over...Hmmmm.

Around here, I could probably park a bike behind the house and the English Ivy would have it covered by Thursday....

"Nature taking over"
Two blocks south of my house, the street is sliding down the hill. In this spot, one lane of pavement has literally dropped over two feet down. We're waiting on the Army Corps of Engineers to do something. Directly across the street from my house, the far lane drops about an inch a year.



Also just for perspective: For this second photo (not an entry) I moved the bike about 20 feet forward.

We just got home a while ago.

Dave, I'll be in archive mode as well, although by your standards it's still riding weather here with 40° at the moment. I hope I have enough material for the winter.

It'll be interesting to see what themes and pictures people come up with for the colder riding weather months.
I did go for a 20 mile ride this afternoon. It was about 32°F. Chilly but clear and bright.
I also found this (click for closer view. THIS IS NOT MY ENTRY. My entry is the broken road).
I guess it used to be a gas station. This is four miles from my house and I've always kind of wanted to check it out. Now I have.

My 83 GS1100e after Fred crashed over a 30 foot embankment....this is how it sat....it would never have been found again...
