Mrs. Steve and I just went through all the pictures. They all have some merit and some nice stories behind them.

However, what we think is probably the one with the least artistic merit and just general lousiest photographic quality is the one we are voting for. Yes, Roger and the ABQ crew need to be rewarded for pulling off a rally on VERY short notice.

Just so you count correctly, that is TWO (more) votes for Roger's mini-rally.

              All,
Your votes and sentiments are much appreciated.

I was on my desktop trying to get a new pic for this week and the darn thing just froze. Haven't figured out how to post photos from my phone using Flikr so once I sort a few technical difficulties, the new theme pic will be up.
              Thanks again.

In front of a professional national sport stadium is as close to as I can get to a photo of "bike and sports" anymore.

And I think the photo itself needs contain the evidence that it meets the criteria, and stand on its own without explanation.... THis does contain that evidence, but let me point it out. Can see the Lucas Stadium sign (which isnt too self explanatory) but can see the big images of american football players and can see the horseshoe emblems. All are representative of Indianapolis Colt's Football.
(Some, many, most photo contest do not allow any comments.)

Pretty boring picture. Is just here are the bikes and here is the stadium.

And the signs on the bikes, ... leads into a story.

Fathers Day 2013, my son Justin hands me two tickets, one a Indy MotoGP 3 day pass and other to ride a track lap.
Then he grabs them back, and says I can have them on one condition. And that condition is that we go together, and make a 5 day trip out of it and we go stay in Bedford at the Rosemount for 2 nights and I take him on some of the rides I had been telling him about for the previous 8 years (southern Indiana, down to Ohio River). I said "Yes, Okay, Sure" immediately. And we did.
And that year we were both partisipating in a ride-photo-hunt game related to The Pace Podcast, which had Professional Sport Stadium as one of the targets, so that is what the signs on are bikes are for, having our Pace Podcast registration number (I suppose so they could tell was not an old photo).

HE enjoyed riding down there so much that he asked if could go to GSR Brown County rally sometime, and he has twice now, and probably again this year.

OK, Roger, go back home and get some bigger bats.

This is in front of Fifth Third Field, home of the Dayton Dragons, our local minor league team.

It was a nice day for a ride. Got back at 6-ish, it had cooled just slightly to 55 degrees.
