In Cowboys defense, that Ohio Rt.555 is a very dangerous road. It's narrow, rough, poorly marked with a lot of blind turns and hills. A lot of crashed motorcycles on that road. There are a lot better roads just a little farther east.My Motorcycles:
22 Kawasaki Z900 RS (Candy Tone Blue)
22 BMW K1600GT (Probably been to a town near you)
82 1100e Drag Bike (needs race engine)
81 1100e Street Bike (with race engine)
79 1000e (all original)
82 850g (all original)
80 KZ 650F (needs restored)

Time and/or wear and tear were not friends of the Doohickey on the KLR 650. The bike had a short life span without taking care of this balancer tensioner issue. If the spring didn't snap, the part the spring was connected to would. It didn't seem to be a matter of if, but when enough wear and tear would cause this part to fail.
Here's my 2005 KLR with a broken tensioner spring.
Oddly enough, I learned more about this bike than I ever thought possible from the guys on a vintage Suzuki forum. GSR GUYS ARE AWESOME!Last edited by Burque73; 05-06-2019, 09:10 AM.

Pondering the theme-category as stated by Sandy:

So the theme is basically deterioration or how time and wear and tear has not been a friend to your motorcycle. ..............
But, hey, that is part of the fun of it.http://webpages.charter.net/ddvrnr/GS850_1100_Emblems.jpg

Was thinking of “wear and deterioration”..... .
Well, I Have these two rear wheel hubs, one from 850g I had, one from GK.
Failing to produce anything artistic, I then went for somewhat silly way to show the wear.
(the wear that most of us here will recognize without explanation)

The moonscape of the slow death of the clear coat covering the stripe decal. Seems to be common on the 1150.

We need to get some work done on the fishing cabin. It has deteriorated considerably over the past few years.
