2001 KLR650 too pretty to get dirty

Life is a balancing act, enjoy every day, "later" will come sooner than you think. Denying yourself joy now betting you will have health and money to enjoy life later is a bad bet.

Foggy memory but i think this photo was taken in '88 or '89.

                  Two old brick kilns.

Two of the several there outside Medora IN about 20-25 east of Bedford.
Are also some other old abandoned facilities there.
I think where bike is parked would have been a truck loading area. A large paved area, now with lots of stuff growing up through the pavement.

More of my pics there that day are here

(pic of 3 bikes in driveway is not that day, all others are)

                  Other info

I saw this place 12-14 years ago on my first couple Brown COunty rallys. Rode past it while riding with groups. Was behind and in shrubs and trees but could see was something there.
About 8 years ago I went there to check it out and see what it was.
And have stopped there with others a couple times in recent years.
A couple years ago the brush and trees were cleared out. HAs been some effort underway to make into a historic site or park or something.
Last year I stopped there, and spent a while exploring around with camera.

So in my past life about 8 years ago...well maybe 6 I used to fight live steel, sword and mace. The sword on the left is the very first sword that I used for fighting and the one on the right is the sword that I fought for 15 years till I retired from the sport.
