Wazz on the Left and I'm on the right taking a ferry somewhere in Kentucky on our way to the last Southeast Rally. Greg, Tim Rose, Brian Wringer, and I rode two days through Indiana, Kentucky, Virginia, and North Carolina to end up in Robbinsville, NC sometime around midnight on our second full day of riding. Twelve hours on day one, and sixteen on day two, and this was all before we got to the rally to "start" riding. Oh, and I don't care what any of the other guys say, I DID see a bear on Black Mountain heading into Virginia.

Living off the bike touring Appalachia.
Just the route to get to and from... Half of it I did in 1 day from my house to my sister's house (In TN) is about 1100 miles or so. I think this trip ended up being closer to 4K miles total spending a few days off the BRP and surrounding area. Can't wait for COVID to be done. No trips for me this year, only memories to think about...
Till next year...Last edited by Jedz123; 09-14-2020, 06:41 AM.Jedz Moto

Both the GK and the RT (having sidebags and trunk) look about the same wether going on a 20 minute afternoon ride or going cross country. But can see a couple clues in this pic of starting out on cross country ride.
Riding the RT home (Michigan) from SanDiego.
About the biggest difference, that can been seen, from a 20 minute afternoon ride than a cross country trip: The GPS mounted.
And.... the Aux Navigation Tool (Certain pages of RandyMcNally Atlas stapled together).
And.... moving van loading all daughters&SIL's possessions, so cant stay there any more.http://webpages.charter.net/ddvrnr/GS850_1100_Emblems.jpg
Had 850G for 14 years. Now have GK since 2005.

I somehow managed to take the bike for a week long recertification course in Maryland. It was last minute. I was originally going to travel with a co worker, but plans changed. If I was driving a personal vehicle anyway, , I figured a bike counts a personal vehicle.....
Got paid for gas, meals.... and a plug kit for my rear tire when I picked up a drywall screw. They wouldn't spring for a tire...
