      I use this pic as my avatar but don't think I've used it in the game. While the Appalachians in central PA may not be as grand as they are further south, or as tall as the Smokies or Rockies, I think these purple mountains have their own majesty just the same.

        did a ride with Sandy and his brother to Leavenworth Wa that wasn't without it's challenges. The last night Sandy and I camped on Mt Rainier. On the way home I rode on one of the sketchiest roads that I have ever been on. My entry is one of the most famous mountains around. It is Mt St Helens from the NE side.

          Half a day in and the bar is being set pretty high for this topic. Especially for us who live in the Flatlands.

                Michigan does have one "mountain". Porcupine Mnt, in the UP, about 550 miles travel from here.
                (if I went 600 miles in other direction, I could be to Smokie Mnt Nat Park.)

                But I have been "out west" when rode the bike home from SanDiego.



                DOnt know if this fits the exact geologic defintion of mountain, but close enough for this flatlander. . . . . .
