Hey, ROger, I have seen the sign shop at a county road commission. Most sign content comes from catalogs, but they also might develop thier own for special things. I wonder if some guy in the sign shop developed that. (Probably a lot different now than what I saw in the 70s.)

I'd like to see that catalog and the unique signs for different areas. Have seen signs like "lizard crossing" and such. Maybe independent custom production there.
