    sigpic2002 KLR650 Ugly but fun!
2001 KLR650 too pretty to get dirty

Life is a balancing act, enjoy every day, "later" will come sooner than you think. Denying yourself joy now betting you will have health and money to enjoy life later is a bad bet.

Yes! I know how to spell GPz1100. In 1982, when I had just bought a new Z28 and still rode my '73 Z1, I lusted after a GPz1100. I wouldn't have known a GS11E if it came up and bit me on the rear (which it frequently did in street races).

But it must be 1100. I just don't understand the others. A neighbor I rode with bought a new GPz 750 around that time, and I kept asking him why he didn't get the 1100. "The 750 is fast enough," he always told me.

Yes, I know. But if you're going that far, why not go all the way? And, finally...

I know that in '82 the big GPz was air-cooled and chain driven. In later years, I suspect some were water-cooled shafties. As Charlie Brown's friend Linus would say, "If that's true, don't tell me. Cause I don't wanna know."

2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after.

Turned out it was the auxiliary tank causing most of my set-up problems.
The hose to the carbs was disintegrating on the inside and kept dumping crap in to the carbs.

A device that would increase the flow of oil by using explosives!
They would set off the Nitroglycerin charge deep into the well, causing the oil to flow with vigor.
The Nitro was made .4 miles away from this location. 20200425_142429.jpg

I dun'no, in the past if you used a negative to make a copy of a photograph. you could flip the negative and your new photograph would be backwards...Though I haven't seen a negative for forty yrs.
