Heading to California a few years ago. Snowstorm in Flagstaff caught me by surprise. We were supposed to head north through the four corners area, shoot over through Utah and northern AZ, and Nevada then down through Vegas. Late departure meant blasting straight down I-40 through Flagstaff. I was not expecting that storm! Stopped at the next exit, where snow had pretty well vanished, and warmed up a bit.
