Weither a short ride just into town or a longer ride, I will most often include a pass by the beach or maybe go to this place with an overlook of the beach.
THis picture (to validate Norm's prediction) is the place that overlooks the beach/lake/pier/lighthouse.
Is in fall or winter, as can tell by the bare trees and the lines of snow fencing. In summer the beach would look more like a scene from "Where is Waldo?"
Could say that would be a more picturesqe view without the utility poles. But they help to show the elevation, and i choose a position/view where the poles (and trees) are the least obsturctive.

This year I'm only going to try to contribute only new pictures if I participate for the week.
So in that here is another shot from the other morning at my favorite spot. Pulled over on a rural dirt road. I call this place my temple as I often stop here every morning in the warmer seasons for sunrise meditation and prayer.

When I'm out riding, very rarely do I pass up a airport. This is one of my favorites. The Akron Canton airport. Around the static display of the Wright Flyer, there are "Bricks" you can buy as a donation. When my mother passed away, I bought a brick in her memory. You could say it's kind of a tombstone for her. Mom has been active in aviation since 1963 till she passed in 2018. She done it all from pilot training to stitching fabric to the wings of homebuilt airplanes. When asked what was the most exciting thing you've done. She'd say when she had to jump down the inflatable slide evacuating a 737 after a emergency landing! I guess that could get pretty exciting! 20220730_151406~2.jpgLast edited by storm 64; 03-24-2025, 01:02 PM.My Motorcycles:

Easiest week for me...ever... Growing up in my rural area there was a country store every 6 to 8 mi. where we could pull in and get a slice of cheese and a pack of crackers, a bologna sandwich, or just a cold drink (soda or pop to many folks) and a bag of peanuts to pore in, or most anything we needed. Today they've just dwindled away, rare to find a bologna sandwich without buying a pack of bologna and loaf of bread at grocery store and making sandwich at home, which tastes nothing like the ones from the old country stores. Sorry, I got off track, Voting gustovh this wk., no other even close.1983 GS1100E, 1983 CB1100F, 1991 GSX1100G, 1996 Kaw. ZL600 Eliminator, 1999 Bandit 1200S, 2005 Bandit 1200S, 2000 Kaw. ZRX 1100

Gustovh, please.
That brings back memories of enjoyable days riding through nowhere'sville, stopping to chat and thaw out my toes. In Datil, NM, a customer says "you guys rebel riders"? Pffft, yeah, sure. On 40 year old Jap bikes, stopping for RedBull and Ibuprofen? HahaRoger
