Thanks all. I almost didn't bother to post it. Not really sure what my expectations were considering it was rushed, taken in full manual mode using the monopod and me crouching down with my back leaning against a fence - in other words if they weren't low, they should have been. I do love the raindrops. Roger, I'm so culturally unhip, that I'll have look up that reference.
Now that I know that Monday is the new day that the train comes thru town, I can plan better.sigpic

I missed recent posts 'cause we're out in the mountains camping and just got some cell service. That train shot, Glen, has to be one of your best so far. Sometimes things just happen.'84 GS750EF (Oct 2015 BOM) '79 GS1000N (June 2007 BOM) My Flickr site http://www.flickr.com/photos/soates50/

Thanks. As far as positioning, I'm usually that guy sitting, kneeling, or squatting down trying for a different perspective. About the only time I photograph at normal standing height is when photographing in town.sigpic

Got out for a few days camping (RV) at a local mountain lake about an hours drive from home and got some cool shots.
