      That's a beauty, Finn.
      So rare seeing stock exhaust.

Four days ago was snow and coldest day of winter (if concider wind chill).
And now is mid 40s degF, and here are these guys.

March2023crocus by Dave Redman, on Flickr

For closeup shots lately I have been trying longer lenses.
THis is with Oly FourThirds 70-300 f/4-5.6 adapted for MicroFourThirds camera. Is kinda soft focus (or maybe is shake, was a bit breezy), but got better depth of field and I didn't have to hunch over to get as close as when using adapted manual 50mm (f/3.0) macro.

            Will try some more.

This with FourThird 18-125 f/3.5-5.6 adapted for MicroFourThirds.

You might ask: Why have FourThirds lens adapted for MicroFourThirds?
ANswer is: can find in used market for 80-90-100$ and has the automatic functions (focus, exposure), and is not 3-4-5 hundred$

Scott, either you have the strangest frogs in Kentucky, or that is the strobe lighting up the eyeballs. But a striking photo.

The ice is starting to disappear and the annual migration has started. This week it's Trumpeter Swans.

Never been a fan of the Orange Buffoon, but If you look at the two vertical stains with a forward hash mark towards the right of picture, view down a bit, you'll see a mug shot.
No "tears in his eyes" though.
