            Thanks, and yes it does.
This one was a day before the other. It was less than 1/4" long.
I think I like this one better, because of the background, plus the translucent spines, and whatevers, on the tomato plant.

Went for another beach-pier photo expedition about sunset time.

Suppose someone could say that I am boring and unimaginative for going back to same place for photos. And that could be fairly true.
But I can also say that that each sunset can be different.

Dave, that's not a bad idea, going back for photos at that spot. As we pass through the seasons, and the sun drops in the sky, the lighting changes to reveal new opportunities.

Nice photos guys. That tomato bug shot is stunning!

Went camping and did a little fishing this weekend at El Vado Lake and in the Chama River right below the dam. One of the other fisherman's dog was barking and carrying on at this trash can so my son went to investigate.

He figured out pretty quick why the dog went nuts.

We put large stick in the can and stepped back. The trash panda scurried up the tree and waited for us to leave.

Great photos Dave. You may be going to the same place, but I can't tell.

EDIT: Well, actually I can tell. But you understand what I was sayin'

In my experience, no two images are ever the same, and repeatedly visiting the same location can yeild countless different results depending on conditions. These conditions also include the the mood of the photographer .

Apparently these are folks that didnt want to walk on the sand, are on the edge of the pavement.

THe lighthouse and the beacon tower both have lights that flash (rotate?) at a different rate. In this picture I took the effort to get the picture when both lights were on. Oh, Man, I need to get back on the bike.

I feel your pain Dave; I'm seriously debating trying to get back on mine today but we'll see how the day goes. The ligaments/tendon (not sure which it is) on the top of my leg feels like someone is just twisting the heck out of it - much like an old style Indian Burn we used to do as kids. I can walk fine but that portion of my leg gets very tight very quickly so it makes for a soreness you wouldn't believe.

Meanwhile, I'm working on my second clock project; it's got a long way to go still. I hope I'll have it done by Columbus Day as I would like to make a ride out to Maryland to meet the Uncle this is for (never have seen him)
