      Haha....not really.
It was pretty beat when I got it. Still had the big sprung seat.
Rebuilt the motor (shop), repainted it myself, and it turned out OK. Wish I had before photos.
Wife and I had a lot of fun with that bike over the 10-12 years we had her. Sold it in 2003 for a decent buck.
Used the money to buy my dragbike, trailer, and racing gear.

        I was asking for a friend…Rob S. Lol

I’m just 5’7” so not sure if I’d look cool riding that bike!

But my “T” suits me to a “tee”.

Not saying you didn’t look cool riding it! Lol

I don’t have much experienced with motorcycles except the Y2K Gixxer 750 and my “T”.

I’d give it a go in a big parking lot.

Makes me think of "The Fonz" in Happy Days. heh Oddly, Henry Winkler couldn't ride a motorcycle.

                        Very Cool, Bob!

I have a heavy older leather jacket I bought from MrBill...that and a set of chaps and the waist coat (vest). I think I wore the chaps backwards the only time I wore them in NM--riding from Las Cruces to Alamogordo.

                            Thanks Roger,

sometimes there are good de-railings...if ONE thinks that way...and other times, not.

I just asked Rob if he understood my explanation in post# 30. I had to refresh his memory! lol

                                '78...You've seen it before, Rob.
I bought it in '89, but after I bought the 'glide in the late '90s, I signed the Sportster over to the wife.
Had it in the family for a little over 20 years.
