    "Birds Aren't Real"

I had heard these words in the past, but did not know to connect them with an organisation of any sort or type..

That was incorrect, as there is one that is established and has been functioning in our world for several years, apparently trying to get people to see the world differently, and they have acquired many internet followers and supporters

I kept getting forced to create a free account at NYT so looked elsewhere.

I love what the founder is doing. I think parody is a great way to drive home a serious point.

I have had that problem with NYT as well as with others that offer access to only one article and enforce restrictions after that with cookies or some other insidious things.

I re set the browser (Firefox) to delete ALL history immediately upon closing the browser.

Some things still survive, however and they , happily, get knocked off by a free program called "Spybot, Search and Destroy."

And scientists are serious when they say that if no one is there to hear it, a tree falling...you know.

Then if one follows the progression, if no one is there to hear it, is there there?

Here is another link to an article that originally appeared in the NYT, possibly the same one.

“Dealing in the world of misinformation for the past few years, we’ve been really conscious of the line we walk,” he says. “The idea is meant to be so preposterous, but we make sure nothing we’re saying is too realistic.”

I admire the idea of taking on lunacy. However in this post truth, alternative fact world I wonder if there is anything that is too preposterous. I'll bet that there are many who believe birds aren't real.

In the random photo thread I have several of these fake "bird" things.
They're spying on us , not the government though, well not government from this planet..They're aliens from outer regions of the galaxy.

I remember riding one of my motorcycles and this fake " birds" picked up a snake and flew right over me , like ten feet directly above me.

I suspect the snake wasn't real. but rather a "smart snake" that was going to be implemented in a nasty dirty war that's been brewing for centuries.
