This is what's going on in December 2021.

We celebrate FAMILY throughout the year but the emphasis is geared towards the end of the year...Thanksgiving/Christmas/New Years.

Some consider this forum as a family gathering...albeit virtually because we communicate with one another through thread starts and replies with interest.

I consider this forum like a family affair because some of us reply to each other while everyone can read our dialogue. We learn personalities, likes, dislikes and much more!

Yes, this thread has slightly shifted in thread topic but I have replied to Trevor about his family matter with Oreo and that it was ok to mention this sad time.

Others have chimed in regarding their love of animals or mentioned personal feelings about this time of year with family. It's all relevant and adds to this thread.

Obviously, if a separate thread needs to be started, Trevor can do that on his own.

Whatever, or if you celebrate at all, take a minute to reflect on the good things in life.
            Happy Christmas, Hanukkah, Solstice, etc.

Stuart McLean was a Canadian treasure but unfortunately he passed away from Cancer a few years ago...about 5 years ago we took our family, Janice's mom and dad, grandmother and my mom to see him perform in Victoria.
When my son was young we would listen to his stories on the way to our dirt biking adventures.

Very funny imo...please give a listen.

We watched Its A Wonderful Life tonight. Somehow I completely forgot about the first half of the movie, before George jumped.
Donna Reed was a very pretty lady...

I figured as much...it's happened before and I think you gave the explanation.

It’s my #1 favorite Christmas Movie.(It’s a Wonderful Life, not Bohemian Rhapsody-though that was good too). Our local downtown theater shows it every year. It’s extra special when you see it on the big screen. Missed it this year. This pic came up in my Facebook memories from 2018.
