    RIP Ronnie Spector

This lady was at the nexus of the '60's music scene. Remember that her husband was the (then) highly respected producer Phil Spector, and that she was close with John Lennon.

Twenty years later, her career was revived when she sang with Eddie Money. RIP

The wigs, the eye make up, the dance steps. Bottom line, it was great music. Still is. Off camera, Ed Sullivan was groovin' to the beat!

Great, great talent. Phil Spector wasn't one to share the spotlight, but her and Darlene Love were the talents that really drove that sound.

Her comeback actually started a little earlier, with Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes. She sang a duet with him on the first album (a lost classic if there ever was one) and would do shows with them occasionally.
Much better music than the dreck Eddie Money served up.

Eddie Money was a cool dude and had some fun music.

Actually have that Southside album on vinyl.
