I remember the wave of astonishment that bike created. Such a great piece of motorcycling history!

            Color me clueless too.

Is it just me or do those tires have zero tread? Is that a racing thing?

The Britten was built in a shed thousands of miles away from the nearest racetrack, but that didn't stop it from achieving international domination. Here's what makes it so amazing!

Actually, they have 100% tread. 0% void.

Motorcycle racing tires have been slicks for close to 50 years.

An incredible bike for sure. In 2017 I couldn't believe my luck and eyes when I won the award at the Quail I followed a Britten up on stage....my little $1500 Cooley following a bike worth in the millions....lol...

I could never forget the Britten because Cycle World did a complete write up. The man died too young.

                          Trevor, wow. Wow.

Shaun Harris on the Britten V-1000 in 1993 @ the TT. Looks like a grunty pleasure to ride.

I think there were two. Anybody know where they are today? (I assume one is in Trevor's garage .)
