I like it, Rob. But I kinda prefer my 500 with the flame job....

H1, I presume? Just as historically...historic. Then in '72, the 750 H2. A brute, I was beginning to hear the term 'widow-maker.' Eventually, I bought the 903 from my cousin's best friend's widow. The dead man's little brother saw it happen in front of his eyes, his best friend saw it happen in his mirrors.

          Nice!

For some reason, I love the giant YAMAHA sign behind a Kawasaki.

The last few bikes I've bought (FJ-09 and KLR650) have been purchased in the deepest darkest pit of winter, and were wearing about $2K in upgrades before they rolled out for the first time. If the path is well-known, then it can make sense to take care of some things while you're waiting for the glaciers to recede.

When it comes to good looking bikes, this is the standard I use to compare them to. My 1st big bike, 1973 TX650 Yamaha. I've owned some good looking bikes, IMO, but this still sets the standard. My Moto Guzzis come close, and I really liked the looks of my champaign 82 GS1100 EZ.

The pistons on this bike are only 2-1/4"(2.244) inches in diameter with only 1--1/2"(1.5393) inches of stroke.
                    If you could imagine that.

Good for you!!! I think you'll love it. I didn't get to ride my buddy's yet, he just got it broken in before winter hit. Although after the first service he did wail on it a bit and had a huge sh1t eating grin on his face. Woohoo!!!

                          Very cool, looks nice.
But 56hp in the states and Canada, and 76hp elsewhere? What gives with that?
My little single puts out 40hp. So what I'm I missing?

What I hear. They de-tuned it for Canada and USA to meet noise regulations.
But a simple ECU flash fixes everything.
Funny thing. They were trying to get me to buy a extended warranty. I told them the warranty is going to be void as soon as I flash it anyway....

Of course, I should have known it can be reflashed.

                              76hp sounds fun....
