All true, and a welcome change to our world of today.
Obviously, this does not hold around the world.
It is most noticeable not just in India but all across the South Asian sub-continent, where things are very unlike what we see here, and change of any kind is very unwelcome.

What we see here is less good by a large margin than it should be, and with states like Texas and others destroying Roe v Wade, removing LGBTQ rights, and even forcing teachers to out students who trust them, there is good reason to believe that the thought experiment that was democracy in the U.S. is at an end.
