    Valentine day activitys

I got my wife a new mailbox and replacement tailight assembly for van. That may seem like an odd combination, but there is a correlation between the two.
I had thought of picking up several of the red pices of plastic from the snowbank
around the mailbox, and make a heart or flower card out of them, but I had better sence than that.

Also thought to invite her along on my morning walk and coffee stop this morning. That is something I have been doing 2 or 3 times a week this winter. So we did that. Had to alter about every aspect of it to
accommodate her (and doggie), but we had a good outing at downtown coffee shop.

made a good pork roast with taters and carrots for dinner.

My wife's flowers, chocolates, balloon and teddy arrived on Friday...giving the flower service time to deliver on their schedule...which reduced the total price.

As for the broken bits of red plastic near the mailbox, that is too funny.

My wife decided to occupy our two year-old in order to gain a few moments alone and, since he really likes Mickey Mouse, she found an online MM movie for him to watch.

He is still a couple of years away from starting school, but may be getting a head start by learning Spanish from Mickey.

That depends. Was it a teddy bear or a teddy to wear?

We thought it would be a good idea to get married on Valentines day. In hind sight, not so much. It made going out on our anniversary very challenging without reservations, and since I've only ever taken her to a place that takes reservations once, we hardly ever go out on that evening. Also, it diluted Valentines day to just an added activity for the day. Kinda like kids born on Christmas, they celebrate one and the other is an, oh yeah and that too!

This year kinda sucked actually. She split to CA for a funeral so I was, and still am, alone. My son and sister came over for dinner which was nice, but later on, after we couldn't get either zoom or google duo to work, we got into an argument. I got super frustrated and chucked the phone acrossed the room/ house. Think skipping a stone acrossed a lake. That's how I released the phone. I guess I expected to hear a thud and see the phone stuck in the drywall. Instead I heard a weird crunch and came back around the corner to see the fish tank draining on the wood floor. Huh.....damn....S#!T.... and panic ensued.

I grabbed two wet dry vacs from the garage and promptly picke up the water. The plecostomus was in an eith inch of water on the wood floor so I scooped him (her? who knows) up and dropped it in with the betta hoping they didn't kill each other. I vacuumed, mopped and dried up the mess.

I told my wife the next day "hey, good news, I got rid of all the snails in the pleco tank!" Bad news...we need a new tank.

At least the dinner was good, and having a beer with my son and sister was fun.

Oh, the darn phone survived! This galaxy S10e is friggin amazing!
