for an update the bike is still up, I posted some ads for outboard motor annual services, the annual service charge is $320 plus parts, now i just need the business.

have a bike up for sale right now and I'm gonna see what I don't need anymore, not necessarily getting rid of stuff just for the bike but it'll be good to cleanup, and finally be able to get to the 650 restomod.

id be very happy with a reliable well built cafe-esque GS650 and my literal dream bike at 22. im still shooting for it.

school is my work right now, in school for marine technician training, but im starting my own business right now as a mobile marine mechanic, of course im only taking jobs i know i can do and working specifically on outboards as stern drive and inboards are alot harder to get to in terms of accessibility in certain areas. i will do OJT when i can but if i am able to make enough of a name doing mobile work maybe i will get fortunate enough to keep doing that

i do a little bike work but i dont think ill establish something with that, i got somebodys honda shadow running right again, they said they replaced the fuel pump and it still didnt run, i went over, tested the pump aswell as the relay, the pump was actually broken straight from the box, they got a new pump but i also figured out that the needle and seat were stuck as when i blew on the fuel line leading to the carbs i couldnt get any air to pass into them after i checked for fuel in the carbs just seeing if it made it there in the first place. sure enough i was right and the carbs were dark green on the inside, a rebuild and new fuel pump and the bike ran just fine, and i learned that on the japanese vtwin bikes with two carbs the rear cylinders carb will have larger jets to help deal with keeping the cylinder cool.
