Yammy did have its share of recalls on them. We will work on it and see. It did fire on some ether already. Tank has a VERY light dusting of rust that wiped off with my finger to reveal nice solid metal. Its a worthy candidate in my opinion. My first phototbucket try worked, so i will reload the pics into that as well for the image shack haters..give me a few as i find the bucket pretty slow.MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.

Cracks me up that an electric starter was such a big deal then that they put on the badges.
Not too familiar with Yammies of that era. Is that a two smoker or four stroke? And was this pre XS?

4 stroke with a dry sump engine. Oil was pumped from the oil tank under the seat thru the engine and recirculated basically. It was one of ..if not the first 4 stroke they made and was the precurser to the XS series.MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)

It will need the brakes gone thru, a right mirror, carbs done, tires, air fliter foam for sure. All the switches are free, horn works, all the lights work and signals all flash, all the guage lights work as they should. brake lights come on and go off like normal. Not that bad shape wise. No dents of scrapes in the tank or covers. Some sun faded on the top of the tank.MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)

Man that is a cool bike. Never heard one of those 750 twins running. Plus having all that original paperwork and a service manual to boot! Good score. Thank god all the parts were there to take the fairing off.
