Zim
1949 FL.
Heads were done by A guy in Ohio. He's considered to be like a Jedi Master of the old stuff. New seats & guides, Oversized Kibblewhite Black Diamond valves, ported, balanced & bench flowed, new exhaust spigots, head gasket area re-surfaced. Absolutely new again. They were so nice when I got em' back I didn't wanna' put em' back on the bike.
On the flip side, it took eight and a half months to get em' back, and after two months, my ass is just now getting back to normal from what he charged me. Granted, there are probably a half dozen people on the planet who can do what this guy can do, but in hindsight I'd have settled for second best. I think he's for the guys for whom money & time is no object....And that ain't me.
Anyhow, it is perfect and back together, so I'm happy.
