    And the finished product....

^^Calipers look good. Good luck keeping the paint on there when the Dot 3/4 brake fluid accidently drips on them. You're probably better at putting calipers back together than I am.

my opinion shouldn't be taken as gospel or in any way that would lead you to believe otherwise (30Sep2021)

Now that's some scheitty half arsed work you are doing there. I see a paint drip on that center caliper in the first pic. Not up to your usual high standards at all

Well as our buddy GSXR says the brake fluid will take care of it for you.......if you're not careful.

I'm not sure now if I can trust you to not fark up the wheels. Maybe you ought to get them p-coated. Then again you did do a decent job on the frame if the pics are to be believed so give 'em a go.

Looking forward to seeing a painted engine too don't forget.

          Thanks....

I hope to not drip any paint on the calipers, but hey if it happens it happens....LOL

OK so I have one run on one caliper, that's what I get for doing them in a cold garage, then hurrying back in to keep the parts warm, and not letting them cool down too much, I am sure I can sand it out, but from 3 feet away, you can't tell anyways....LOL

Still debating on the wheels, might try to paint them, worse case I am out 35 bucks for paint stripper.....

I hear we are getting some warmer temperatures soon, if so I will give it a shot and try to do the engine, but I would want more than one day of above zero temps...

Hey the camera don't lie....LOL,,,,the pics are the pics, no doctoring in any of my shots....

            Lights....

Well a little bit done today....

I mounted the turn signals, the license plate light is now wired as well (picture don't show it, I did it after) mounted the rear caliper as well, so it's getting there...

I think I will now go and get a battery, I am at a point I can test the electrical, and to make sure at least lights, and such things are working....

            A few pics...

              Assembly_5

Well a little bit of progress today, not lots, it was after all family day, so had to spend time with the family...

But I did get to put in the new bearing for the sprocket/hub, ohhh it spins so smoothly...

and I changed out the hardware for the seat, now I can use the same key for ignition, gas cap, and the seat lock...yay.....

I have a solo seat cover as well, but I am missing the back portion as you can see in the pic,,,,,,anyone have one, or a lead on one, or I will just have to find a way of closing up the hole.....

              and a few pics...

              nice and smooth...

Need the cover that fills this space........

I guess I should have kept the other one I had, one for you, one for me...LOL

Actually the blue one I was going to strip down, cut off, strip off, all unnecessary bits and turn it into a track bike, but I don't go to the track...LOL

Well I hope you get them sorted, will be nice to meet and go for a ride.....

I thought the Koso stuff was supposed to be plug and play, more or less....I was looking at them for the GS, and the FZ, but decided to stay with stock gauges at this time...

Well B. don't be taking your baby to any wrench jocky. Mr. GK and myself are fairly competent with lightning in a wire so if you can hold off 'til we come down say sometime next month we'll figure it out with you. It's amazing what we can sort out when under the influence of good booze and stogies.

Spring starts in 30 days so that seems like an auspicious time don't you think?
