A guy I know here in town had one of those he bought new, It is and has been his only means of transportation for as long as I have known him. 18 years he rides year round here in NH and has 173K on his 89 Kat 1100. He figured it was time to replace it 4 years ago with a new ZX14.H.e rides that year round also1984 GS1100GK newest addition to the heard

I love mine. It has taken soon work and money to get it sorted. You should be able to get the lower faring on ebay. The mirrors are a problem.
