I got a Q tip and cleaned out the weep hole and went for a third ride for a longer distance. Come back and its still clean and dry. I've planed some long rides for this afternoon and tomorrow to be certain
Got to thinking that before mounting the replacement engine and while it was out of the bike I had put oil into the cylinder through the removed spark plug holes and I'm pretty sure some of that oil on the #1 cylinder missed it's mark and ran down into the weep hole catch area causing the tobacco chew goo.
The new replacement engine is very strong. Clutchless first gear wheelies are just too simple now.
Well two very long 6hr rides later and there is nothing to weep about. Everything's dry, no leaks just a smooth fast engine. For the $450 spent, it feels like a new bike.

Sorry for the delay on this guy's but I've been crazy busy... Mom has had 5 surgeries for her cancer and I've been very tied up with that. However a before and after of proof that the 05 swap and euro retrofit has occurred...
Worse part was the bike was totaled in a parking lot... I'm fine but the bike was not.
So She's running stock jetting stock boots. I just didn't have the time to dial everything in. Runs so much better no oil leaks (better not with only 5k miles on the new motor)
Fazer 1000 S Euro decals. The blue tank badges are on their way in from UK.
Looks nice, runs nicer! 3k miles and counting so far on this rig for the season. 700 flawless miles on the swap.Last edited by Jedz123; 03-05-2015, 11:30 AM.Jedz Moto

Lol not so much Jethro. Divorce is indeed expensive and couldn't spend as much money as I wanted. However the bike runs extremely well and the direct swap has yielded a bike that easily power wheelies in first and second gear. We will have to see... someday when I am free to have my own time again.Jedz Moto
