Other then the fairing, I like it. Good luck with it. I hope to see progress pics....sigpic
When consulting the magic 8 ball for advice, one must first ask it "will your answers be accurate?"

I'd restore it though the chrome could get a little pricey depending on what's left when you clean it up. Great bike to ride. Terrible bike to stop....Old age and treachery will beat youth and skill every time1983 GS 750

I remember that in like '77, you could still buy those for $900 bucks in So Cal new. They were like light maroon and ivory colored. Not very fast, and not very good handling, but they were solid and reliable and inexpensive. A gold '69 was the first truly full sized motorcycle I ever rode, at 14 years of age. I'll never forget it. One of my older brother's friends handed me the keys. Had to go pick up a buddy and we rode all over that night. I had to have a witness for school the next day!!
Have fun with it. The style was reminiscent of the Atlas, I always thought. So is the name, for that matter.

Nice one! I'm a fan of the T500's... not sure why but I do like them. Next on my hit list after I get my Kat, although not sure if I'll ever get as far as the Titan at this stage...
I'd start with getting rid of that fairing, cleaning her up, and seeing how she goes... if all is good I'd just leave it as is and ride1982 GS450E - The Wee Beastie

Very cool bike. I would do to that what I was hoping Joe was going to do with his 250. Expansion chambers, lower bars, better suspension/tires, and stock everything else.1979 GS1000S,
