So cool that you "presented" it to the family. I can only imagine the bittersweetness of the moment. great job.
Not being familiar with the animal, i see no issues with the decals. They look good to me.sigpic

It was a bitter sweet moment with the family, my uncle never shows emotion EVER, he usually says something like "nice job @$$H0le"
But this time he said nothing and gave me the thumbs up…thats big emotion for him! His Ex wife cried and me and his son Jamie talked alot about his dad and what he was like before the accident and brain damage, Jamie has few memories of his dad before the accident.
And even though the 750's look backwards there are actually on the right way….
You are obviously Suzuki nuts !! and not Kawasaki Guru's except Allie! Nice job!
I was totaly depressed when I noticed like putting the cherrie on the sunday and then smashing it down to far! I had them mocked up correctly then must have flipped them when I put them on.
I was going to leave it and I may still, I don't know yet, its a custom not a resto, and because most people won't know, but those who do will mock me mercilessly for doing it!
Thanks of all the compliments!!Last edited by Guest; 04-13-2015, 07:54 AM.

Maybe it's just my advanced age, but I see nothing wrong. The Mach IV was just so historically vital.1982 GS1100E V&H "SS" exhaust, APE pods, 1150 oil cooler, 140 speedo, 99.3 rear wheel HP, black engine, '83 red

I like the Kawasaki slanted the way you have it, it makes the bike look faster and matches the angle of the forks. The way it came stock looks a little conflicted, like the bike doesn't know whether it's coming or going
Maybe they thought it was 'edgy'?
If anything maybe you could lift the 750 emblems and switch them?"Men will never be free until Mark learns to do The Twist."

Ives since changed some things, had some work done to put reeds in it and bought the parts need to finish it.
Im hoping to have it running next spring but we will see, free time is a premium as you know.
This is how I received it;
