For you Honda CB 750 guys

Friend mine has this bike, I haven't seen it yet, though looks pretty good. Probably a bit high on the price.

Stuff I've done to my bike:dancing: 1100E front end with new Sonic springs, 1100E swing arm conversion with new Progressive shocks installed, 530 sprockets/chain conversion, new SS brake lines, new brake pads. New SS fasteners through out. Rebuilt carbs, new EBC clutch springs and horn installed. New paint. Motor runs strong.

Just my opinion, the Honda "Custom" model is like the Suzuki "L" model. Nothing wrong with them but not nearly as sought after as the standard models. Back in the day we made joke statements about the semi chopper bikes. We called them "Disco Cruisers", or "Cruising for Burger bikes. Again just my opinion, realistic price appx. $1500. A good 900 custom or 1000 custom may fetch $2000

Yeah kind of told him $4900 was probably 2 grand to high, he wouldn't hear it, claimed he has seen them sell that high, I just left it alone. Just like the guy here was trying to sell a 82 GS850G is good condition for $3900, told him as well, way too high.

I think even $1500 is crazy, you can get a 900 Custom with the hi-lo 10 speed tranny for that much, and they are a little more desirable than the 750's. Without looking hard, I bet I could find that same bike on Craigslist for a grand or less. Guy is out of his mind.
