They sold a schitt load of those. I suspect many would-be 750 owners came out of the showroom with one of those. After I bought my used CB350, kid next door got a new blue 550 with stock 4-into-1. Not as good-looking as the two tone 4-into-4.

2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after. -
Bike is torn completely down. Heres where things stand as of tonight.
Frame redone
Spokes cut out and hubs polished and clear coated
Fork lowers polished.
Engine top end off and the top end refresh has begun..gaskets and new rings are in house for that.
Carbs dipped an cleaned. Need to get oring kit so they can be reassembled.
Sourced a almost new front fender, front wheel hoop, and taillight mount bracket or $50.00
Tank derusted and POR 15 installed
Paint and supplies are in house.
Rear rim hoop on the way via Ebay
Spokes,fork seals, and throttle cables also ordered.
Brake caliper seal and piston ordered.
Master cylinder rebuild kit ordered.

Top end fully redone as of tonight. Rings, valve stem seals, valves ran on wire wheel to clean carbon off, combustion chamber domes cleaned up, valves lapped. So tomorrow after work I should get the jugs set back on and the head set..and maybe even get as far as setting the cam back in. Depends on how energetic I feel..

Engine is back together and today I should be able to get it painted. Spokes arrived so the rim will be relaced next. Cant put anything back in the frame till I have some rims mounted.
