      Look for a used dirt bike trailer. Should be able to find one cheap, mine was $300 and it's fine for three medium sized bikes or two huge ones. One big GS would be a piece of cake.

      About 1979 or so I shortened a Sears boat trailer and took my old GS550 across the country on it, loaded down with everything else I owned. Skiis, box of clothes, couple other things. Not much actually. Towing it behind a '67 VW bug made it an epic wintertime journey, in an adventure of a lifetime kind of a way.

      I found out VW bugs do definitely float, although Sears boat trailers don't.
